Feels like summer is just around the corner. The weather has been amazing and I'm feeling good.
Well, almost good.
My sciatica has decided to flare up again and I've been in moderate pain most days for the last month. I managed to drag myself to physio last week and she did some acupuncture and I'm starting to feel a bit of relief!
Go again friday for another session so hopefully it will just continue to improve.
Weight is down to 193.1 so down 2 lbs in 3ish weeks.
I'll take it. It's the first time, it's moved in awhile.
I also stopped my morning fast (or my after dinner to late morning fast). I've been spending more time researching fasting and menopause and I'm reading that fasting may be stalling us from weight loss and other things.
So now in the morning I'm having a protein coffee, which is just a bit of protein mixed with milk and then added to iced coffee. It's delicious and honestly I find now that I'm eating much smaller dinners because I'm full by the end of the day.
I've also switched to a liquid magnesium at night and my sleeps have been amazing. I used to take a magnesium bisgylcinate tablet at night but I was still waking up a few times a night. Now I sleep through or maybe only get up once in the middle of the night.
So my sleep is better and I'm front loading my protein at the start of my day which reduces my meals at night. And my gassy/bloaty belly seems to be a bit happier.
So far so good. I'll play with this for a few more weeks and see what that brings.
I had a small scare the week after my birthday where I got my period again. It's been over a year. Actually, almost 18 months. I really shouldn't even label it as a period as it was spotting at most and only lasted 1 day. I also had extremely sore breasts a few days leading up, migraine-like headaches the week prior, cramps and zits. I never attributed any of the symptoms until the spotting appeared.
I'm almost positive it's one final hurrah from my uterus, but I will need to mention it to my doctor for my next appointment. Recently did an at-home pap and I'm waiting the results from that too before I go and see the doc.
